History 06 Lesson 25

I learned about many different things about Egypt and its ancient dynasties. I also learned about facts other than the dynasties. King Menes unified Egypt for the first time ever and they were at peace. They created pyramids which are one of the 7 great wonders of the world. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest of all of the pyramids. The first pyramids they made were kind of small but still bigger than a elephant or camel. Every single brick that they made the pyramids out of was over 2 tons they had to carry all of the bricks from the Nile River for miles to build using those bricks. They used sled like contraptions to carry them but it was still near impossible for them to carry it that far. Eventually they finished the pyramids and buried their dead pharaohs in them.
