Smallpox vaccine-

Who invented it? Edward Jenner. When was it invented? 1796 Where was it invented? Trinity, Newfoundland. How does it work? It stimulates a person’s immune system to develop antibodies and cells in the blood and elsewhere that can then help the body fight off a real smallpox infection. Why is it important? So, people don’t get smallpox anymore.

Voltaic Pile-

Who invented it? Alessandro Volta. When was it invented? 1800. Where was it invented? Genoa, Italy. How does it work? I don’t know. Why is it important? So, we have lights and electricity.

Arc Light-

Who invented it? Humphrey Davy. When was it invented? 1807. Where was it invented? Paris. How does it work? It makes light by sparking an electric arc of a high current between two conducting electrodes, usually carbon rods.

Dalton’s Atomic Theory-

Who invented it? John Dalton. When was it invented? 1803. Where was it invented? I don’t know. How does it work? I don’t know. Why is it important? I don’t know. But I do know that the atomic theory is a scientific theory that matter is composed of particles called atoms.
