Steamboat-

Who invented it? Robert Fulton. When was it invented? 1807. Where was it invented? I don’t know. How does it work? A steam engine connects to a paddle and makes it go in a circular motion. Why is it important? So, boats could go faster.

Robert Fulton-

He was born on November 14, 1765. In Pennsylvania. He invented the steamboat, and he made a submarine. He mase it in 1800 at France. It worked by a wooden propeller that was operated by two men that turned a crank. Why is it important? So that we have submarines.

Argand Lamp-

Who invented it? Francois Argand. When was it invented? 1780. Where was it invented? I don’t know. How does it work? I don’t know. Why is it important”? So that it was cheaper even though you got more light.

Power loom-

Who invented it? Edmund Cartwright. When was it invented? 1785. Where was it invented? Waltham, Massachusetts. How does it work? Foot pedals lifted and lowered the warp while weft was drawn in between the warp threads, creating cloth. Why is it important? So that more cloth can be made faster.
