Soda Water-

Who invented it? Joseph Priestly. When was it invented? 1767. Where was it invented? England. How does it work? Soda water is made by adding carbon dioxide under pressure. Why is it important? Soda water improves satiety, or the feeling of fullness and that could be a benefit for people who constantly feel hungry.

Joseph Priestly-

When was he born? March 24, 1733. Where was he born? Birstall, UK. He discovered oxygen. And started the chemical revolution.

The Weighing Scale-

Who invented it? Thaddeus Fairbanks did in 2,000 B.C. where was it invented? Indus river valley. How does it work? It works by using pressurized air to balance out the object, and the amount of air required therefore determines the weight of an object. Why is it important? So we can weigh stuff and see how much its worth.

The Boring Machine-

Who invented it? James Henry Greathead did in 1853. Where was it invented? NW Massachusetts. How does it work? It spins around really fast and then you can cut down drill bits. Why is it important? So we can cut down drill bits to the size we need
