Hummingbirds are small little birds, and the bee hummingbird is the smallest bird in the world. It weighs less than a penny! Hummingbirds can flap their wings 80 times per second. They need a lot of energy, so they drink their body weight in nectar! Hummingbirds are very colorful they can have purple and red and pink and green you know what I mean. They have two tongues, or it is one tongue that can separate into two. Their tongue is very long, and their beak is too. That’s it!
