AppleInsider announced today that they have multiple sources that are ” well-respected by AppleInsider for their striking accuracy in Apple’s internal affairs” – they all are saying that there’s a tablet slated for 2010. Could be exciting. Take a look at the complete AppleInsider article.
In addition to the other pictures I posted a couple days ago, there’s one more set of concept images by Isamu Sanada (who’s done a lot of other Apple concepts as well).
I think the keyboard on a device like this would be interesting to use… It looks like it would lend itself nice to typing with both of your hands but then that leaves the screen sitting flat on your lap or desk, which isn’t exactly a great viewing angle and might not be good for your neck. Maybe it’ll work out fine, but I’m skeptical.
And though I love the quality of the concept image below, and I love the look of that super sleek keyboard, I can’t imagine Apple coming out with a scenario that required you to dock your device like old fashioned mobile PCs and carry around a separate keyboard. That’s a step backwards from, say, a MacBook Air.
