Prove them wrong: Twitter is strong | Super Bowl Twitter feed

The Super Bowl is now embracing Twitter, as CNET points out.  However, CNET writes that Twitter is still a new technology and the Super Bowl Twitter feed only had a mere 1900 followers as of Thursday morning.

Yet there were just 1,940 followers for the Super Bowl Twitter feed as of Thursday afternoon, a tiny number when compared to the millions of fans who will watch the game on TV, and a sign that this technology is, even now, something that has risen to the attention of only the smallest number of people.

They’ve got a point, of course.  Twitter is relatively small – and people don’t READ the Super Bowl, they watch it.  Nonetheless, if you’re interested in “sticking it to the man” and showing that Twitter isn’t insignificant, then PROVE THEM WRONG!  Sign up to the Super Bowl twitter feed.
