Apple’s latest ads: V-Word, Bean Counter
I was just browsing my rss feeds and saw that John Gruber made a quick post on his blog (good stuff, check it out) about Apple’s new V-Word commercial. After reading his post and making my way over to the ads section of Apple’s website I noticed that they have another new commercial posted entitled “Bean Counter”.
Bean Counter basically sums up my thoughts exactly on the Windows Vista ad campaign. Why spend so much money on advertising when you could just focus on making the product better instead?
Microsoft would have made infinitely more impact with their campaign if it was just one painfully simple commercial that said “We were going to spend $300 million on an ad campaign, but instead we just made it better…”
